How does such a canoe trip look like?

Canoeing is a traditional and very popular sport in the Czech Republic. It is a perfect way how to combine fun, sports, sightseeing and hanging around with friends in one. The rivers where we organize tours have rather gentle stream with just a few challenging passages and thus are suitable for beginners and also for families with children.

Typically our canoe trips last one week and take place mainly in July and August. Travel Agency Povoda provides following services: rental of canoeing equipment, transportation of the luggage by an accompanying car and organization of the daily program by canoeing instructors. Accommodation takes place in camps, arrival and departure to the river is individual.

People arrive on Saturday afternoon so in the evening we have time to get to know each other. On Sunday morning we teach the beginners how to control the canoe. It is not hard and in a day or two, everyone will master the canoe. Besides that every day is similar: in the morning you give your luggage into our car, which transports it to the next camping site. Then our journey down the stream starts.
